This is the perfect connector to use a telephone on a computer. It took me hours to hunt this item down but and it solved all my problems. I read somewhere that it was designed to work with Sennheiser headsets but I think it will work with any standard phone line. In may case, I got my Plantronics CS55 headset running through my computer. Works great, sounds great and its the only way I could find to hook a phone line up to a computer.... Actually, let me revise that. I found a lot of usb ways to make that connection. However, I wanted something that was lossless and Linux compatible. This is the only 1/8" (3.5 mm) way of connecting a phone to your computer that I found.
