Baby Alive Feature Accessory - Story Time Rocker

I bought this for my daughters birthday at about half the retail price. She has not received it but I wanted to put it together as I noticed a lightning deal is hitting today and I was fairly disappointed when it came in.what comes in this box5 Cheap pieces of plastic (not the durable plastic by any means) that you "snap" together1 Mini story book your child can color1 Adorable baby robe your doll can wearPros: Very cute rocker that has a small storage area in the seat that you can place the book inside of. The rocking chair also rocks nicely and should fit almost any normal sized doll 20 inches or below.Cons: Plastic is not very durable, it was not easy to put together I had to ask my husband to help me "snap and slide" the pieces into place as I was afraid I would break the chair before my child had even seen it. Looks cheap might last 6 months to a year if a child even try's to sit on it the chair will be crushed.Overall I would not buy it again even at half price unless my daughter was begging for one for her birthday. More then likely I would still look for something more durable. She will receive it in Feb and I am sure I will add to this post once it breaks so you can see how long it lasts. Until then you have a parents view on the durability and looks. I mainly am writing this review as there was none when I purchases and I do most of my shopping off of others opinions.Updated Dec 2012: I remember this chair 2 years later and it was an extremely bad purchase. I knew when I put it together it would not last but I was still a little surprised when I think it only made it through one play day. Needless to say we kept the robe and the rest went in the trash. I can not recommend this to anyone for anything at any price.

The toy was good. The baby fit in the chair perfectly and the chair rocks. The only thing is that was wrong with it was that it said on the box it was easy to assemble, but it wasn't. There were only a couple of pieces to put together,but it seemed that the pieces were not meant to fit together. Other than that,it was great! The chair comes with a book and a robe. They are great too! So,everything was great except for the assembly, but if you keep trying hard, you are sure to get it.

I bought this for my 4-years-old niece. The rocker/chair is cute and not that hard to put to together. It would have been great if it wasn't for the size! the chair is so small that the regular Baby Alive Doll it's supposed to be for does not fit the chair. My niece was dissapointed by this and so the chair did not fulfill its goal. I don't know if this product is designed for a special type/size of Baby Alive doll, but if that is the case the description should mention it.

Bought this on sale, and was still disappointed. It's really thin, cheap plastic, and the fold own seat thing popped off constantly. I threw it away

It has a cute design and includes robe and book. Also has a little storage compartment underneath the seat. The storage compartment is roomy enough for the book and can also hold a little Baby Alive teddy bear!

Thought this item would be easy to put together. Well it took 3 adults because the plastic is junk. It claims it is easy and snaps together but it did NOT! The original baby alive is a bit big for this but all the others seem to fit fine. Daughter was interested in it for 20 mins and has not been back to play with it.

The walking Baby Alive doll's legs do not bend. All she does is walk and talk which is okay. But I did not realize when ordering that all this doll does is walk and talk.
