3.0 USB data cable works fine with my S5, It is approx 2' shorter than the OEM from Samsung but I have not found it to be a problem when I have used it between my laptop and phone. I have not used it to charge my phone but see no problem in doing so. The cable is of good quality and a little bit heavier in build than the OEM cable, no problem just a observation. It came quick from the supplier and received a email from the supplier asking if I had any problems with their product - this was showing a good customer relations with this supplier. Again, no issues with cable, good customer service and would recommend such a purchase.

The cord works fine when plugged directly into the phone. I have a mophie case, and the cord will not fit as the black plastic molding is too thick for the mophie case. I had to use my dremel tool to cut away some of the black plastic molding to get it to fit into the mophie case. Once that was done, it works fine.

Perfect length for connecting to the USB port in my center console and running it out to my Samsung S5 so I don't need to keep the lighter compartment open all the time. I like the quality though I wish it could be smaller in diameter.

The end that plugs in to the phone is heavy so if you don't pay attention it starts to bend after awhile but still works

This seems to be a very well made cable. It easily fits into the phone connection, even with a bumper case surrounding the phone. My only quibble is that I wish it was about one foot longer. I have used it with a wall plug to charge the phone and as a purely USB connection to my computer to download a few photos from computer to phone. Both operations were flawless.

It's great as a car charger because the cord is shorter. This cord is doesn't consistently charge as fast as the cord that came with the phone. So sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. Either it will at least keep the battery percentage the same and slowly increasing when I don't use it or it will charge normally.

I have an S5 and a Note Pro 12.2 that both connect via USB 3.0, so I needed a cable to use with my spare battery pack. This cable fits the bill, and works with the tablet; however, the housing at the USB 3.0 end is too bulky to connect to the S5 through the Otterbox case that I have. So I use another cable for that.

This product worked fine charging my Galaxy S5 for a couple months. After that, it suddenly stopped working. There was no stress on the cable as it staying in my car the entire time plugged into a USB car adapter. It just seemed to fail randomly. I replaced this cable with an 3ft OEM Samsung cable for a very similar price.
