Dove Supreme Crème Serum, Absolute Curls 3.3 oz

I LOVE this stuff! They stopped selling it at my Target in the store and I had a mini panic attack thinking they discontinued it. I was luckily able to find it online easily through Target but decided to order through Amazon for free Prime shipping.I have curly hair that is fairly coarse and thick. With just mousse or gel it tends to get frizzy, and I never really knew what to do with it. I received a sample of this in a beauty box a while back and I've been hooked ever since. I put it in my hair right out of the shower (no brushing or combing -- just run it through my hair). Then I put some mousse in it, wrap it up in a tshirt and go to bed. When I wake up in the morning it's gorgeous, and barely needs to be styled. This creme serum is a game-changer for me; I was so worried when I couldn't find it in the store so I ordered 6 off of Amazon in case it was discontinued :\ My hair is so soft and the curls are beautiful after using this; I used to use way too much mousse or gel to try to tame the frizz but this product helps so much I barely need to use any anymore.It does have a stronger smell but I love it! If it's a really humid day I sometimes run a small amount through my hair to tame the inevitable frizz that occurs after being outside for hours.Overall I love this stuff, super happy with it, and I honestly probably never would have tried it if it weren't for being included in a beauty box since I've never had any luck with cremes like this before. So glad I found this product!

I was very impressed with the results of this great smelling product! I have used it on the 3 different hair types of my mixed children. It's light, not greasy and leaves their hair moist and shiny. I'm most impressed with how defined it leaves their curls. My boys sleep wildly but, with this curling serum, in the morning their curls are somehow still defined and shiny!! Howdoes it work so well?? I will mention that the best results are on the hair of my two sons with the softer loser curl patterns. I used this serum following a shampoo and conditioning from the same Dove Quench product line. After years of searching for the perfect "leave in conditioner" to define and moisturize my sons' curlsI think my search is over. An absolute must have for mixed or curly hair.

Hi curl friends, as many of you, I toughed and bought this product with the hope of it working on my hair. I have type 3A hair, and let me tell you it did my hair wrong. I bought the whole line ( shampoo, conditioner, etc.). It was not until I checked the ingredients that I noticed DIMETHICONE AS the SECOND INGREDIENT? REALLY ??? Any curly-haired woman knows DIMETHICONE weighs the hair down and prevents the natural curl shape from forming. Because silicones like Dimethicone do require harsh sulfates for full removal, sulfates also dry out the hair and can ultimately cause hair damage. IF YOU WANT DEFINE FRIZZ FREE CRULS, THIS IS NOT IT.

I have long curly hair, longer than usual because I haven't gotten a cut since July. I have a problem with frizz and I think I've tried every product on the market, including the shampoo/conditioner/serum combos that are supposedly formulated for your specific hair, and are very pricey. This is better. This works without being too heavy or making my hair go flat. The whole Dove Absolute Curls line of products works great for my hair and I can actually afford it.

Worst product I've ever used! It's Oily, greasy and made my hair gummy! I hate it!! Don't buy it! I bought it because quench absolute for curly coarse hair intense restoration mask is no longer available. I repeatedly purchased that product. I love it. It made my curls look beautiful and I told everyone with thick curly hair to purchase that product. I don't know why it is no longer available! So I thought Dove products were safe, I'll try this one. Surely it's as good. Wrong!! I can't get this one washed out of my hair! It's horrible! I didn't want to give it a star but my review wouldn't go through without a star. It deserves a negative star!!

I’ve used this on my hair for several years, it is hard to find now unless paying double what it used to cost. This works wonders to bring out my natural curl while making my hair soft and manageable. It also gives my hair a natural shine without feeling oily. I wish it was still sold for under $6 in stores.

Good things about this product, but it’s not right for my hair, which is curly and fine. It left me with very little body. However, I gave it to a friend who really likes it.

I typically use this with other products for my long, frizzy, curly hair. I put this on damp hair before anything else and it has made my hair softer, less frizzy, and it smells great! I use a mousse or spray as a second step to define my curls. I have also used a tiny amount of this serum to help control frizz when my hair is dry and it works without making my hair look oily or greasy (just be careful - it's thick and you only need a tiny amount).
