Cameras Off-Line / wireless 2G
Cameras keep dropping off-line. Back room, down short hallway and inside the door, less than 20ft.NO 5G. Cameras are 2G only.Set up near router, not too long. Set up at a distance can take minutes if it sets up at all.Picture quality is good.2-way communication, nice.

Horrible app horrible tech support.
Won't connect to app without hours on the phone with tech support. Got 3 cameras 1 still won't connect even after 3 separate phone calls (1 that was 2 hours long). I give up they are going back and I already ordered the wyze cama that I should have got in the first place.

Amazing cameras that have it all. Great app, two way communication, night vision, motion alarm
I live in an apartment and have all three of these set up in different areas. The app works great and allows me to check on my dog when away at work. Love how you can set each of them on the app to alert you when detecting motion. Also the two way talking works perfectly. I’ve had these for several months now and love them. Perfect low cost way to have added sense of security to your home. Oh yeah and night vision is solid.

Powerful little cameras - night vision is excellent
Purchased this product online from our local wholesale club. Awesome one-day special price. I was hesitant to purchase this set being that it was only 2MP, however for the low cost, it was worth trying.Comes with three cameras, three USB cables, three power adapters, and three bases for mounting to a wall. I was able to setup all three cameras pretty easily. These cameras operate off a 2Ghz (not 5Ghz) wifi signal. QSEE Plus mobile app required. Also need to create an account on the QSEE website. To setup, power on the camera, then use the QSEE app to scan the camera barcode. Once the app scans the barcode, you program your wifi credentials (SSID/passcode..etc) into the camera. Each camera will require a new password - they can all be the same. It took several retries for each camera before the camera was detected /setup. Once done, the app will now display live viewing/recording.In the app settings, every time I tried to enable MOTION ALERT (slider bar) for the cameras, it would say "subscription failed". After numerous attempts and getting same error, I rebooted the cameras. Went back into settings to enable Motion Alert", and now it succeeded with a "Subscription On". You set your activity zone (motion areas) by finger pinching the motion grid. The area that turns red is the area where motion will be monitored and alerts will be created with motion in that red area. The motion detection worked very well during day light. The camera detected each time I walked by it, whether close-by or 15-20 feet away). However, when the camera was in night vision mode, the motion alerts were fast when I was within five feet of the camera. But when at ~15 feet away, it sometimes does not detect motion, even when I turned on my my cell phone screen light to create motion. You can do live viewing or review recorded video from motion alerts. Note, when viewing recorded motion alerts, it may take up to 10 seconds to load since the app pulls the video stream files from the camera's SD card. ( i use a SD card and not the QSEE cloud service). The camera sits on a swivel base (allows you to position the camera view - tilt left/right and up/down)Daylight video quality is very good for 2MP. I can easily see clear video and zoom in on it - although when zooming too much, it will blur the scene. On your app, you can set the video stream to low resolution (SD) or high resolution (HD).Night vision is very impressive for a small camera. There is one visible red LED on the camera for night vision. A 100% dark room/garage is easily visible when night vision kicks in. Can easily see within 20 feet. One thing you need to be careful of with night vision is to avoid reflections. If you put the camera too close to an object or surface, this will cause a reflection back into the camera, which will essentially blind the camera. You will see a white/cloudy scenery. If so, just re-position the camera for better night vision viewing. (not a problem for daytime vision). BTW, the camera automatically transitions between day/night mode. You cannot manually set it.Speaker and Microphone: The camera has a microphone and speaker. I must say that the speaker is incredible. It is more of a loud speaker. When I am on the QSEE Plus app (on phone) viewing a live stream, I will press the microphone icon for that camera and talk. The camera speaker will relay the voice. Very clear and loud. Two-way conversation is very good. No issues.QSEE PLUS App: The cameras are 100% configured/controlled by the app. Not a lot of settings for you to play with.I believe you can also use a laptop web browser to view the cameras but haven't tried it (QSEE rep said you can do it)The mobile app does allow you to take a screen shot as well as local video recording. Data is saved to your CELL phone. Viewing from the app will work with wifi or cellular (i.e. 4G LTE). When on 4G LTE, video streaming may be slightly slower, but works just fine for me. No issues at all. It does warn you when you are on cellular signal.Couple notes:1. Formatting the SD card causes the camera to go offline for a minute (i assume it reboots)2. You don't need an SD card or cloud services to operate the cameras. Can use it only for live viewing and alerts3. There is a schedule option to enable/disable motion alerts. You can also manually turn motion alerts on or off4. Wide angle lens give you more video scenery ~110 degrees.5. One camera continuously has a static/crackling sound from the speaker. - will replaceOverall, this is a simple but very effective security camera. Not many settings to play with. If you have no need for recording to the QSEE cloud service, just use a micro SD card. But remember, if someone breaks into your house and sees/steals your camera, then the evidence is also gone. As an alternative, when you get a motion alert on your app, just start live recording to your cell phone. I am pretty happy with the 3-camera set, and for the low price, I can't complain. Happy with the purchase. BTW: I have been using one camera to monitor how I sleep at night. I can now see how often I toss/turn.Update: (5/18/19)The cameras have worked perfect for six months now. No issues at all. Really enjoy having these wifi cameras. I put these in different areas of my house and always get true motion alerts (not false alarms). I know when my wife leaves/arrives from work and check up on her via the microphone. I even have one that is inside of the house looking thru the window facing the front porch. Video is clear, even thru the glass window. At night, with the porch light on, the camera gives me a nice color video. The night vision does not come because the porch light is lit up enough. These cameras run on their own and I have never touched any setting since configuring them six months ago.One minor item:1. If your cellular signal is weak, streaming video may error at the 99% download mark. Not much you can do except move the cell phone to a better reception area. Once you have a good cellular signal, you can easily stream the video. Or just stay on wifi if it is available.

Mediocre Cameras, very poor PC and App software design. Useless Customer Service
Q-See Plus app is lacking very basic features, I have 6 cameras, but only 4 is supported by the app. The camera settings are very limited via the app. No continues video recording is supported only motion activated. Sometimes via the app, my cameras are shown as offline, while via PC everything is online. Only kill and restart the app helps. The login screen is popping up some kind of message on Chines, face recognition often fails, forcing manual login. The PC software also has very poor usability design, offers more settings but many functions constantly fail, such as "Fail to start searching devices", "Fail to get video bitstream set". Most of the changes/scheduling configured via PC application doesn't stick to the cams. Customer Support is totally useless, lack of knowledge and they never follow up on the open tickets. I wouldn't recommend this camera for anyone looking for anything more than amateur.

Won't work with new phone
I bought the camera set from Sam's club on clearance.I had problems from the start. I could only get one to work with my network.I got a new phone and now I can't get any of them to sink.I went on line for chat, waited at least 10-15 minutes and gave up.I may try again before throwing them in the trash.
