I was worried about some of the other reviews saying thay got damaged parts but I was willing to go through the hassle of a return if it happened to me. My husband and I nervously opened it looking for boo boos but it was in perfect condition. Yay! He slapped it together in about 25 minutes or so and I couldn't believe how nice it was for the price. Its solid wood and gives a high end look to our living room. We used it under our tv. We used a drill to place a hole for cords in the back so we don't have to look at our electronics. If you get one and it has a ding or scratch, use a crayola gray marker to do touch ups.

Came with a broken piece but it was in the back so I kept it. Slightly darker than the pictures show, but works for my space! Feels sturdy. I built this alone by myself with no issues in an hour or so. There are no written directions- it’s all pictures. Not ideal, but doable! Using it for my 50inch TV. Great storage.

Overall I live this buffet table, it was exactly what I need for my dining room. The color is more of a Charcoal than a grey but ended up working out perfectly. The only drawback was the directions were EXTREMELY unclear and took two people to figure out. The table is sturdy and beautiful...overall I would recommend this product!

Ordered two of them and both showed up with a crack in the center bar where the cabinets line up making it unusable. Very thin piece of cheap wood used.

It’s a nice looking piece of furniture but just as what other reviews mentioned, it’s not a well designed furniture and it has a lot of issues...I get that it came partially assembled so the complicated door hinges are preinstalled but the frame is so poorly designed that after returning the first one, the 2nd one had the exact same issue. For the 2nd time I was able to cobble it together to make it work because I didn’t want to do another return again!See pix.Repacking this piece of giant furniture to return was not an easy task but luckily Amazon was able to arrange for UPS ground pickup so I only had to haul it out to the front door, again, not an easy task!I do like the way it fits in the space I have but the assembly design really needs to be improved.Buyer beware, be prepared to return it or settle with having it a little broken yet functional.

I saw all of the bad reviews and questioned if I should give it a try. I thought it was a simple piece to put together. If you have ever lived through putting together an ikea shelf this will be a breeze. Just bring your own tools to the party and don't try to use the alan wrench that is included. It can be tough to put together because of the tight tolerances that will make for better longevity. I thought the packaging was very protective as well. I didn't end up with any scratched or dinged up pieces.

I gave it two stars because this piece of furniture is probably worth the cost; however, the likelihood of you receiving it in one piece is slim. Honestly, it’s probably not the manufacturers fault and I hope they are being reimbursed for the damage UPS is doing to their product during delivery. Much like others posted, mine was broken in several places. Most of the pieces were intact, but the front of the cabinet comes assembled and it was destroyed. The packaging is enough to support the abuse from UPS and UPS shouldn’t have handled the package in the manner they did. I have a camera for my driveway and front door. The UPS driver backed his truck into the driveway to remove the package. He then pulled the package down inside the truck and it landed with all of its weight right on the edge of the truck gate. If the front of the cabinet wasn’t split before then, that would have done it. After that he pulled the box out of the truck and it landed directly on one of the corners with all of its weight and the package weighs about 100 lbs. I’m guessing that’s what destroyed one of the door hinges. He then rolled the package end-over-end to my front door. When a different driver came to pick up the package for return, he did the exact same thing. He rolled the package end over end to the truck. Unless you know your UPS delivery driver is careful with packages, it’s not worth the risk. The front panel of the cabinet was split just like mbchien’s picture shows. Both hinges on one of the cabinet doors were bent and one of the hinges screws were gone. I’m guessing they had been ripped out and were somewhere in the box. I didn’t inspect the other side of the front panel at that point, so it may have been damaged as well. In addition to all of that, there were tons of tiny plastic beads inside the box. I have no idea where they would have come from, but I’ll probably be vacuuming them out of the carpet for the next month. There were so many of the tiny plastic beads in the box, that it sounded like a rain stick when the box was moved. I think this would be a good buy for the price, but there is a slim chance it will be delivered in one piece.

Grey colour is darker than appears in online photo. Doors are stiff but aside from that it’s a great unit. Very happy with my purchase. Would recommend.

I would really like to get my money back , it's been just about over a month and the doors on this sideboard curved outward due to quality of the wood or maybe the lack of enough humidity . Had there been a warning about humidity issue I would have never bought this and my money is totally wasted now.
