Cute - Small - EASY Assembly. Perfect for bathroom.
Yes you read that right... we put this in our guest bathroom. It is a smash hit there - though I tweaked it (see below). This is a small SNOW WHITE, simple but very cute chandelier. The assembly was easy. I don't really get how people had a tough time with this. I flipped it upside down, attached the innermost parts first then gradually worked my way down the outside and when I got to the end flipped it right-side up and finished it off. I hung the final middle crystal after installation, which was easier to do once the light bulb was in.Now, the reason it is a 4 not a 5 start item:This is not a "french" white.... if like me, you assume that this means more of an off white or creamy white you will find that this is simply not the case. It is stark white. How I addressed this issue was with a antique gold oil paint stick that I rubbed and smudged all over the frame of this light. I then got a ceiling plate that was decorative painted it white and rubbed the same antique gold on the accents of the plate. This made this little chandelier into a 10!So, with a little effort this thing can go from cute to stunning. But be aware it is White WHITE.

Very Beautiful and Inexpensive Upgrade
Assembly was easy, but instructions were not so clear. The installation was moderately difficult for me because I also added the medallion that everyone is typically buying with this piece. This was the first time I installed these two pieces together so I learned a little along the way. Read all the instructions a few times so you have a clear game plan before tackling the project. The piece is pure white and looks great in the small transition room adding some jewelry to my old house.I would recommend for the price and value of the piece. Also, a few more things to consider:- make sure you figure out the height before final installation; the minimum height in a room (not including dining room) is 7 feet). I removed a couple links after installation to achieve this min. height.- if installing a medallion, place the medallion on the ceiling then screw in the piece that attached to the electrical box in the ceiling. This 'T' piece will help secure the medallion to the ceiling.- be very careful cutting the chandelier wire; don't cut too much.I purchased Titan Lighting 11 in. White Ceiling Medallion Model # TN-5933 Internet # 204609379 from Home Depot and looks great with this piece.

Nice, simple chandelier
I guess "simple chandelier" is kind of a contradiction in terms. Yeah, it's a pain to put together. Not rocket science, just incredibly tedious. And yeah, a couple of the "crystals" arrived broken, but they included a few extras and it was enough to fix the broken stuff so it all worked out. I'd say it was three hours from unboxing to turning on the light switch to test it. Quite a bit more than your usual fixture, but well worth it. It's a perfect fit in our french gray and white master bathroom. I hooked it up to a dimmer switch and it works great. Just make sure you have smallish standard light bulbs on hand because you are very limited as to what you can get in there.

So pretty!
I had been looking for a small chandelier for a 12' x 12' guest room and most were either brass, nickel or bronze. I wanted something neutral and with an unexposed bulb. I'm not a fan of exposed bulbs in any fixture plus the room won't get regular use so I didn't want to have to dust lightbulbs - but I wanted bling! This was perfect. I read other reviews about how difficult it was to install and hang the crystals. That was definitely not the case here and I pretty much did it all myself with my husband just holding the bottom while I ran the wires through the mounting stem until I could ensure it wouldn't drop. The only drawback for me - and I didn't notice this when I purchased it - there's a 40 watt bulb limit and the room can certainly handle a 60 or higher on a dimmer. But there will be 2 night stand lights so it's a keeper!

Great light, but no instructions
The light is cute, and we have no problems with it. However, it was a PAIN to attach all the pieces without a proper manual. I kept looking at the Amazon picture to try to figure out how to properly place all the pieces, and some of the pieces didn't seem to be correct for where they were supposed to go (having the metal clips on both ends when only one end should have had them). However, I could have been installing them wrong..as there were NO directions!

Great chandelier for a smaller room!
We purchased this light as a centerpiece for our baby girl's nursery and we are 100% in love. It was a bit of a pain to hang as the rod in the top connector should be longer so the cap can securely tighten to the ceiling plate, but once we got that straightened out everything went smoothly. I also attached all of the crystals before we hung it even though the directions say you should hang it first. I cannot imagine trying to attach the crystals after its hung, you're arms would go numb in minutes since each strand must be individually hung. I also agree with the other reviewers that this is not french white, it's stark white, which for us worked perfectly since everything else in the nursery is bright white as well. The price is unbeatable for this quality of chandelier. I highly recommend this purchase.

The crystal is hooked up by rings (just like the ones where you would hang your keys)
I needed a small chandelier for my daughter's room and this one worked. It only came with the ceiling hookup and the cord didn't had a plug at the end. I went to Home Depot and bought a long cable with plug and made the modification myself. One can fit a small 60Watt light bulb. I ended putting an LED light bulb because it doesn't get warm. The crystal is hooked up by rings (just like the ones where you would hang your keys), but lighter/thinner ones. Easy to put together.

Chandelier in laundry room
I Love my chandelier!!!! I hung it in my laundry room trying to make the room a more happy place. At 1st, my husband thought I was crazy for hanging it there but as usual he now says I was right & he loves it. It was easy to install. The only thing I wish was different is the max wattage of the bulb can only be 40 which isn't very bright so we also installed a light under my cabinet & its perfect!! It uses an appliance bulb.
