I love to run
I love to run, and over the years, I've tried seemingly countless pairs of running socks. Eventually, I'll wear a hole through them because of my mileage. Anyhow, while there are plenty of good running socks available, really great ones are tough to find. I can't being to count the number of socks that were almost perfect, if not for one little flaw. Over the past year or two, I'd run sans socks and avoid the matter altogether. There are obvious disadvantages to that approach. No matter how hard you try to keep them clean, your shoes pay the price. So...socks.Rockay's Accelerate socks are the first *truly* perfect socks I've come across. No qualifiers necessary. In my experience, compression on no-show socks can sometimes be a bit hit or miss. The smallest flaw can become glaringly noticeable after a few miles. Done right, compression helps make the sock feel like a seamless extension of your foot when you run. The arch fits snuggly to your foot, with the compression even across the sock. They don't pinch in odd spots and--most importantly--there's no additional compression in the toes. On toe strikes when your toes splay out, the sock doesn't fight against you. There's just enough light resistance from the material itself around the toes to keep the sock from bunching up or shifting around your foot. I've tried a number of socks that don't manage that at all. The heel and toe are padded enough to keep them from wearing out quickly, but not so much as to interfere with your foot's sense of feel. The heel tab is just big enough to be useful, but it doesn't chafe or move about unnecessarily like some tabs. The only sock that comes close to the Rockays is the Balega Hidden Contour. Those are great socks, but the Rockays are noticeably nicer and well worth the price.

My NEW Favorite Running Socks
So what can you say about socks? Well actually, in this case, quite a bit! So, several years back, I became a diehard ASICS Kayano Single Tab Socks fan! Loved them (own a bunch), they just made my feet feel great, never got a blister, even with new running shoes and they held up very well! All of that being said, that is NOT the case with the new version of the ASICS Kayano Single Tab Socks. They are substantially thinner and NOT blister proof, as I got TWO blisters, yes my shoes were new, but they were worn about 5 times prior, so I never would have expected a blister, let alone 2 (would NOT have happened with the older version)! They also do NOT hold up well now, so I don't know what ASICS did, but they changed things and ruined a great sock (IMO). So, I started searching for a new favorite sock and numerous running sites, highly recommended the Rockay Running Sock. I came to Amazon, ordered and have now worn them for 3 runs. Well, I now have a NEW favorite running sock, thank you ROCKAY!! These socks are very similar in feel, durability and blister proof to the OLD ASICS Kayano Single Tab Socks (Again, NOT the current version and Rockay Running Socks are made from different materials (BETTER IMO)). The Rockay Running Socks, make my feet feel GREAT (again) and after three runs, they still look brand new! Something I did NOT know when I first purchased them is that Rockay offers a LIFETIME Warranty (Really, NO questions asked)! I mean, that is serious company commitment! If you want a GREAT sock and loved the OLD ASICS Kayano Single Tab Socks, than folks THIS is your NEW running sock, you will NOT be disappointed (IMO)! But the review doesn't stop here, as this company goes above & beyond any other company I have recently purchased from. I received not one, but TWO emails from the Founder/Owner of this company, "Thanking" me for choosing their socks and the 2nd email provided me with the sock features and LIFETIME Warranty info. That is a company I want to go back to, they surely have won my loyalty. Disclaimer: I paid for these socks, with my own money and have NO affiliation at all with the company. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Absolutely worth it!
I wouldn't call myself an avid runner--but I do like to run a few times a week, to stay lean and to stay healthy. I usually just throw on any pair of socks when I go on my runs. Hell, I really didn't think it made a difference. So when a friend of mine from the gym recommended one of these to me, I was totally skeptical; I was sure they were just a waste of money. But he wouldn't shut up about them, so I said screw it, it's only money.Trust me when I tell you, these are absolutely worth it. Like I can't even explain it. They're breathable, comfortable, they fit well--they actually made my runs MORE enjoyable. I would highly, highly recommend these to anyone.

Finally a running sock that lives up to the hype - Will DEFINITELY be reordering Rockay socks!
ROCKAY Accelerate Running Socks for Men and Women Organic Merino Wool & Anti-blister & Compression Arch (1 Pair)For someone the is 6'6" and has a size 13 wide foot, you can imagine how hard it is to find a sock that actually fits perfect. Stores tend to carry up to size 12, which results in having to order online most of the time. Of course ordering online can be skeptical, since you cant physically try the sock on before buying, which is why doing the proper due diligence is key.I stumbled across Rockay socks on a site called RunnerClick actually, after a bit of research, and placed my order here through Amazon. Not only did the socks deliver the next day (without choosing 1 or 2-day shipping), but the socks fit perfectly as I had hoped. Athletic ankle and "no show" socks tend to slowly move down the heel while training, making it an annoyance to stop and adjust, or face the dreaded heel blister. These socks have a nice snug, yet comfortable fitting elastic band that keeps to your leg at all times, and during all movements. The bottom of the sock has a padded layer, and the top is nice and ventilated. The sock's design is unique too - I like the grey logo on the side of the sock, so it can be seen while wearing shoes. I have actually been approached by other runners inquiring about them, since I've started using them. All in all, I undoubtedly recommend Rockay socks to the avid athlete, and quite frankly, anyone looking for a great fitting ankle sock in general.
