I have a small video production company and was using a hi-def consumer camera (Canon) that was very good, but not the quality I need for what I am trying to do. I bought this Sony camera, and "wow!!!" what a difference in the video quality, especially the low light picture, and the ability to manually adjust the iris for nice "portrait" interviews with blurry background. It's really a decent price for the quality of this camera. However, you might reconsider doing the package deal, as the camera case is too small, and the tripod (while decent) is not a pro liquid-head tripod... I ended up buying a new tripod and will probably be getting another case as well, losing money in the long run. Save your bucks and just buy the camera itself separately...

Sells add-ons not fit for camera
This was missing chargers, sent lenses too small for camera and a tripod clearly not fit for the camera. Would return if I could just been nothing but a bother.
