Ranger 8-Ounce Melt Art Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel, Platinum

Been crafting for years and yet had not tried Ranger's UTEE embossing powder. I love Ranger projects but just didn't see a reason for using extra thick embossing. But once I tried it I'm thrilled with the outcome on my projects. I used a blend of Distress ink on my paper. I chose the lighter colors like Antique Linen and Old Paper and then did the edges with Aged Mahogany. Then I stamped images on top of the ink in black. This was to be a vintage style card so I stayed within that theme. When everything was dry I covered the paper with a layer of clear embossing ink. Then I added a layer of UTEE and heat embossed. I loved the results and even added a second layer of UTEE. The end result was a piece of paper that no longer looked like paper. It had an aged look with texture and depth. One of my favorite looks now!

I love the thick embossing powder when I’m embossing different crafts. It stays in place and very shiny. Just a wonderful product!!! Not another one like it out there in my opinion.These are pictures of some flowers and butterflies I embossed and they turned out beautiful.

Works great making glazed over shrinks dinks!

I use it with Polymer Clay. I put it in the toaster oven till it melts a bit and then use my heat gun. You can't use the heat gun first as it will blow all over the place. It seems to be working great and you don't need a uv light. To me the price is much better then other resins.

Wonderful product. I use this as a finish for my paper beads. I tried the fine embossing powder and it didn’t work. This is the one that works.

Works well. Love the finish. I use it as a finish coat for bead making.

Saw someone on youtube use this and liked the look. I wasn't disappointed -- it looks great, and is easy to use.

This was exactly as expected and so easy to use—i used it on (painted) enameled brass.
