This was good, the magnet is strong. My 13 yr old daughter wanted this for her locker because she just started junior high. Great product and lights up nicely!

This is a great value. The lights are very bright and perfect for my middle schooler's locker. If you have the right screwdriver, it's fairly easy to install the batteries.

Grateful for another review posted with picture. I must have thrown out the instructions by accident as I was clueless how to insert batteries.After taking all screws out I needed a flat tip to insert between the white & pink in order to take apart. Wish there was a little lip or notch to know where to pull it apart. However, with a couple little tools it was super easy. Its super bright and exactly what we wanted for a locker.

Let me start by saying I have made probably close to 1,000 purchases here on Amazon over the last 10 plus years. This is the FIRST review I have ever left. Normally even if I don't like something that much I just move on. I'm not really a review guy. This item is different. Its design so bad and so inherently flawed I want to make sure no one wastes their money on it.Here is the problem, the bottom of this light is designed with 5 micro-screws "protecting" what I can only imagine must be an exceedingly awesome battery compartment. *More on that in a moment. The screws appear to be an attempt at a Philip head screw. In other words they already weren't defined well and appeared to be somewhat rounded out already. I didn't dare even try to use my even smallest of household screwdrivers as I know the metal used in these types of tiny screws has the strength of chalk around the driver slot cuts. Any screwdriver from the house or garage would round them out with the lightest of pressure. So I ran to The Home Depot and dropped another 10 bucks on a micro screw driver set. I must stop here and say I have worked for many years as a maintenance man. I know my way around tools and I'm all about having the proper tool for the job. No dice. The holes were already pretty well rounded out from the factory. Every single one of them. I could not get even one screw to loosen. It is locked up tight. It is not even worth customizing with other tools. It has be unceremoniously placed in the trash can, the very place the original design should have been placed.I love the idea of these little locker lights. I like that it has a magnet strip on the back and it looks nice, but it is an absolute turd. I can honestly say that using a small fire in lieu of one of the these lights would be a better option. I would rather my daughter have a locker lit by a jar of fireflies than by one of these lights.*The 5 screws in the back panel is well beyond overkill. I mean one screw I couldn't open would have been sufficient. As mentioned it's those really nasty little screws too, if you apply even the lightest of pressure there will be burs and shavings everywhere and a nice rounded out screwhead. The plan was to remove all 5 screws and replace only 1. What in the holy hell are you protecting the batteries from?! These lights are designed to go in little girls school lockers. If you go against my sage advice and buy one of these and you are able to somehow get the screws out and batteries in - once the all 5 screws are reinstalled the light should be safe to weather even the largest scale zombie apocalypse. So, there's that.....

I'm disappointed because I bought this for my son heading to 6th grade. I got him Red and it arrived very magenta pink. I'm not trying to cover it in vinyl so I don't have to deal with returning it and not getting it in time for school. Works great but not ideal for a boy who doesn't like pink.

Very bright- batteries not included

VERY BRIGHT, VERY RELIABLE. Planning on ordering more for closets, cars, to use for children going down their bunk bed ladder in the middle of the night-still finding places I need one if these. Only thing is that I bought for my sons locker and it's way too bright for that.

Works well...would have been 5 stars if they let me know that batteries were not included.
