WELLER COLD HEAT PRO SOLDERING TIP CHT 3 NEW

Was looking for a replacement tip since Radio Shack shut down and found this tip which fit perfectly like the original. I'm truly impressed with Amazon in being able to locate products like this.

After years of looking for a replacement for my Coleman soldering iron I tried this one and it works. I thought I was ordering three but only 1 came so that is why I hit 4 stars and not 5. Maybe I misread the ad. If not I do want the other 2.

Great replacement tip

These tips broke pretty quick once they got hot. The ceramic split right down the plastic separator, but that is why I bought two. Things like this aren't without flaw. However, it wasn't just a defective one! They both broke within the first 15 minutes of using them.

doesn't seem to heat as hot as original, but melts thin solder. wouldn't do medium joints on pc board, old one did
