this one really works
Have tried many of them, this one is a 10. Try it, you won't regret spending so little money in a good one.

Disappointing
Why any fragrance is added to any skin care cream like this--especially around your super sensitive eye area--is a mystery to me. I couldn't even leave it on my skin for 5 minutes. It has a very awful smell, and it also irritated my skin. I washed it off immediately. There is no way any effects are with dealing with the strong smell and irritation.

Slight sensitivity
This eye cream has a nice scent and it has a heavier texture. It absorbs fine, but it leaves my skin a little sensitive and slight tingling, which keeps me away from using it daily. But I'm still using it occasionally. I can't really comment on its affect on fine lines. Its great that it's free of parabens.

Works Almost Instantly
This Necessity Skincare eye area cream is one of the best I've tried, and it's not even close to being among the most expensive. I have sensitive skin, particularly around the delicate eye area, and even products that don't react elsewhere can have the opposite effect on that area. I can use this with absolutely no adverse reaction. Even better, I notice it working almost immediately. Over days, the results are even more visible.Because the ingredients aren't listed at this writing, I was nervous about trying it, even though the manufacturer claims it's free of harsh chemicals, sulfates, and petro-chemical products. Yes, it does contain chemicals; however, it also contains more natural ingredients such as arnica extract, soybean oil, apricot kernal oil, and jojoba oil. The arnica in particular caught my attention since I know it as a painkiller and since I've never seen it before in a beauty product. It turns out that in addition to being an herbal painkiller, it reduces swelling, and that's exactly why it works in this cream. The cream is white, and the pump dispenses just a little at a time, perfect for the amount to use around your eye. It's smooth enough to spread without your having to tug at the skin. I expect the antioxidants in it to improve my eye-area skin even more as time goes on.-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

No visible effects
So this felt nice on my face, like a really smooth lotion. But that's all - just like a lotion. I've used almost the entire bottle and I haven't seen any improvement. Considering that I'm of a certain age, this is a bit of a disappointment as there are definite improvements that could have been made. Not recommended.

Works well. Nice quality.
I love products like this that give you a visible effect, even if it wears off. In order to have truly good skin you have to do good things for it all the time. Not necessarily the same thing every day, but good things that nourish it and help it glow. This is a great addition to my routine and it's going to take a more prominent role than my old eye cremes. I can see the difference, and that makes all the difference.

A pleasant smelling lotion
Last year I went looking for eye creams, realizing that it was something missing in my routine. I work with hot glass and spend a lot of time sitting over a torch. It is drying and I can always use something soothing for my eyes. I also made it my mission to identify the things which worked best for me, and get rid of all the little tubes and jars, samples and travel sizes. I tried quite a few eye creams, and did find a few which I liked. My personal preference is to go with natural (organic if possible). While I use a few clinical products, I am more careful than usual when choosing something for the sensitive area around my eyes. I tried serums, creams and lotions which can be distinguished by the proportion of different ingredients. Serums are usually oil based. Creams and lotions contain water, oil and wax, usually with some essential oils and perhaps some clinical enhancers. The Necessity Skin Caare eye cream is really more of a lotion. It is thinner than any cream I have ever used. While there are some good quality ingredients listed (apricot oil, olive oil, squalene) they are towards the middle of the list, after water, glycerine, wax, jojoba and sunflower oils. There are some chemicals, so I would not call it natural, but it does not contain parabens or petroleum products. It smells fairly strongly of apricot, or peach, much more so than it would from the small amount of apricot oil in there. I mention this because some people like unfragranced products. It is a pleasant smell, and not overwhelming, but quite noticeable. It is soothing and moisturizing, something I might use as a day lotion. At night I am going to stick with my Algenist. This is a nice product, but not in my personal top three.
