Repair-Screen Screen Replacement for iPhone 7 LCD Touch Screen Digitizer Frame Assembly Full Set with 3D Touch with Repair Tools and Screen Protector(Black-4.7 inch)

Like many, I've cracked my iPhone screen. I debated the options I saw (send to Apple for $149 plus wait time, send to local phone guy for $89 plus wait time, do it myself for $39). I watched a "how to" video and decided I could do it myself. I picked this kit and was happy with the results I got. The kit comes with most of the tools you need, but you will need to replace the "y000" driver with a real one. The Philips and flat drivers are fine, but this specialty driver, needed for the majority of screws in the phone is crap. You can buy one on Amazon for $5 and it will be money well spent. The process is fairly straight forward, but you MUST be very careful with where you place the screws. The kit comes with a magnetic mat, very handy! The screws in the phone are VERY VERY SMALL, think smaller than the head of a pin. You must work slowly and methodically - many of the screws are slightly different size so it's critical that you use the magnetic mat and place them right where they belong (there's a diagram of the phone on the mat). Work slowly and be gentle with the ribbon cables. I found that unscrewing everything went well, unplugging cables went well, most of the re-assemble went well, but be sure to push hard on the cables to connect them. I originally found toward the end when you fire up the new screen, that mine was blank. I tried reconnecting all of the cables and found that the power cable needs to be pushed hard to connect (it seemed connected, but needed a firm push to lock it in fully). After that, the screen fired up well and looks fine. I'd do it again, but caution anyone to go slow and be methodical or you'll have a mess.

This kit had everything. The tri point (Y000), pentalobe and Phillips screwdrivers, pry tools, etc. It even came with a magnetic pad with an image of the phone components so you can place your screws in their proper order for reassembly; genius!!I had no issues with the home button or any other part that was reinstalled related to this replacement screen. The screen resolution, responsiveness and sensitivity are just like original equipment. Everything works perfectly.The one issue I had, which another reviewer noted, was the tri point (Y000) screwdriver tip wore down on some tightly installed screws during the procedure (there are about 20 tri point screws you need to remove and reinstall during the procedure). In anticipation of this happening I had preemptively bought a dedicated cell phone screwdriver kit with harder tips/bits that worked out great.All in all I would definitely recommend and purchase this kit again if needed.

I have never replaced a screen before, but I decided to try and fix my old phone to test out my skills. This kit has everything you need to get the job done. I watched a few different videos on Youtube, and then replaced the screen fairly quickly, and my phone works great! It's awesome that the kit comes with all the reusable tools, they're definitely a good thing to have on hand!

The screen was extremely hard to install even after several hours. The manual is very hard to read. The suction cup really doesn't work, the home button no longer works after replacement, and the screen isn't flush with the phone. Picture is ok but glitches a little. Overall this was a terrible buy, don't waste your money. Honestly the worst product I've bought from amazon. Now instead of paying 100 for a repair shop to fix my screen, I have to buy an entire new phone.

I have replaced a good dozen screens and this by far is the best kit I have purchased to do it. First, it comes with every tool you need to do the job and the drivers are all magnetized for ease of use. In addition, there is a magnetic screw mat/holder with a map of where all the screws go, making it easy to keep the screws safe and organized for reassembly. This kit even comes with a screen protector! Also included are the instructions, which I did not need or review, so I can't comment on the usefulness of. Lastly, the screen itself works well, fits well and appears to be of good quality. I have used it thoroughly and do not see a difference in touch or visual accuracy compared to the OEM screen.

The product is not the best quality.The screen touch sensitivity is not the same and the screen overall picture quality is visibly lower. When using 3D Touch I feel like I’m going to break the screen

3D touch doesn’t work. Made sure all connections was right 3 times. Hard reset phone and adjusted the sensitivity and still isn’t working. If you like playing live pictures stay clear of this screen

First ordered this screen and once installed the screen was just black with the backlight lit without any image. I followed the directions and was as gentle as possible on install even reinstalled the old cracked screen to make sure the connectors were working properly. Then ordered an exchange and installes it and it worked for about 5 minutes. The screen colors were off and started to have lines on the screen appear the longer the screen was on. The lines go away after the screen is turn off then back on but gradually come back. This screen is just poor quality. Would not recommend this to anyone unless you like to waste your time.
