Whirlpool W10270395 Valve for Refrigerator

Although the description did not list my specific fridge, this was the exact part that came off my fridge that had broken in the first place. The item shipped from Amazon came on time and in good condition. Everything worked perfectly. The only issue that I had was my own fault, but I will mention it for anyone that may not know. When I took the hose out of the old part’s compression fitting, I did not cut the hose to put it back in the new compression fitting. I found that there were issues with leakage from that joint because the old hose had almost microscopic scratches from where it was in the old compression fitting. My advice would be to cut the last inch of hose off to put in the new compression fitting so that there is no issue with leakage.

Exact part I needed.

This fit well on my Maytag refrigerator. The old unit leaked and I had to replace it. There was a lot of calcium build up on the old unit. I had to also buy Whirlpool Part Number W10349052: TUBE-WATER.

The product was easy to install, but it would have been nose if it came with a diagram to know how it fits in its protective cover, an how the wires an hoses run to protect them.

Just the part I needed for my refrigerator to fix the small leak in the back. Easy to install with standard hand tools and watching a few YouTube videos. Looked and worked like it was an original equipment part.

Part didn't last long, we just had a n appliance repair person replace it. We never would have called a repair person had we known it was the same part we already replaced. The price would have been great if the product lasted longer. But when you have to pay $250 to have it replaced it's not a good value.
