The Wahl Professional 5-Star Mentor Clipper with 4 Detachable Blades with a High and Low Speed works well, and cuts great. The clippers are a bit heavier than I was expecting but not a deal breaker, it has good power, and the blades that comes with the kit are great. I have nothing negative to say about these clippers they fit comfortable inside the hand.

After getting these and a couple extra size clips I’ll never need to buy clippers again…so much better than the cheap ones everyone else gets. Waited 3 years before writing this review

The Wahl is quiet and does not build up heat at the clipper head. I'm not a professional, but if you do a little research, and take you time, you be able to produce a nice cut.

I am not a professional and should not have bought this product. I had the hardest time changing from one trim to another. It took three days to decide how this works. I even took the razor and blades to two different barbers who have no idea how to change the blades properly. The instructions don’t inform you well enough. I would not buy this again as someone who uses it only for myself. But for a professional, this would work fine especially with the extra very long cord. My suggestion is to include much more detailed and specific instructions for how to appropriately change the blade from the one that comes on it to one of the other three. Very difficult.

Hands down the best clippers that I have ever purchased. I am a cosmetologist and these clippers are amazing they do excellent work and make my job so much easier!!!! They are quiet and smooth zero complaints from clients about the way they feel. Worth every penny!!!!

Paying $245 for NEW 5-Star Mentors, I was pretty disappointed when I had opened my amazon box and to see three resealed stickers. As I pulled the clippers out of the box, The clipper and other accessories bags were already opened. Yet, poorly put back together. I noticed finger prints all over my detachable blades and grease already smudge from being turned on. I did see hair on the bags, possibly held by static and it was hard tell in the oil if it's hair fibers or dust fiber. I already requested a refund and sending back.

I like these clippers a lot, they are way lighter and have a more power feel then the oyster 76. The blades cut really good and like another reviewer said that you don’t even have to really use the high speed on these. The cord is really long compared to all other corded clippers I have used so it may be a good thing for some people. My only complaint is it has a button u have to hold down to unlock the blade to change them, don’t really know reason for it when many other detachable u simply lift up and slap another blade on to change. I would absolutely recommend these for any barber and hope they make a cordless version of these sometime down the road.
